MASTER IN QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND TRACEABILITY IN PLANT-BASED FOODS
This Master, offered by the University of Extremadura, provides graduates with high quality tools focused on increasing the scope of employment opportunities, particularly in the field of “food of plant origin”. It is taught by qualified lecturers and researchers, and offers direct contact with professionals from agri-food companies. To consolidate the academic contents, the Master students perform practices in agri-food industries, and/or in laboratories of the Campus and research centers.
The Master is focused on Quality Management, Traceability, Quality Control and Food Safety. Its main competences aim to train specialists who can improve, innovate and audit Quality Management and Traceability Systems. Additionally, the students achieve the ability to continuously improve production and processing, thus obtaining safe, healthy and high quality food products, always abiding regulations of environmental preservation and the integral use of the territory. Lastly, the Master students broaden the knowledge obtained in the university degree in the field of foods of vegetal origin, and it permits to apply them in research contexts.
