The future of higher education in Extremadura

Higher education has traditionally been seen as an extraordinary instrument for the individual and collective development of society. In this sense, the contribution of UEx in Extremadura is a fact which cannot be doubted.

Nowadays, this new social context which has been generated by the Knowledge Society bestows a central role among universities, so much so that university education has become a vital instrument, not only for development opportunities for citizens, but also for economic progression and social well-being. Institutions are constantly adapting to effectively meet the needs of this new challenge. In order to do so, in-depth transformations are required.
