Legal information and refund conditions

In compliance with the duty of information contained in article 10 of Law 34/2002, of July 11, about Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce, the following information is reflected below: the company that owns the website is the University of Extremadura (henceforth UEX) with address for this purpose in the Rectorate of the University: Avda. de Elvas, s / n; 06006 Badajoz, Spain, and C.I.F number: Q0618001B.

UEX complies with the guidelines of Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13 about Protection of Personal Data, Royal Decree 1720/2007 of December 21, which approves the Regulations for the development of the Organic Law and others regulations in force at all times, and ensures the correct use and treatment of the user's personal data. For this, with each personal data collection form, in the services that clients may request, they will be informed of the existence and acceptance of the particular conditions of the processing of their data in each case, informing them of the responsibility of the file created, the address of the person in charge, the possibility of exercising their rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition, the purpose of the treatment and the communication of data to third parties, where appropriate.

Within the scope of Instituto de Español como Lengua Extranjera (henceforth IELE), the data will be collected by UEX for the sole purpose of completing the enrollment in the Spanish courses offered by IELE, to organize these courses and to award certificates to students. The data collected will in no case be used for different purposes or transferred without consent to third parties. Likewise, UEX informs that it complies with Law 34/2002 of July 11, on Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce and will request your consent to the processing of your email for commercial purposes at all times.

Cancellation and return policy. In case of cancellation of a course of IELE, it offers the possibility of refunding the amount or saving the credit in favor of the student. If the student decides to save this credit on deposit as payment for future enrollments, he may do so for a maximum period of one year from the date of payment. If the student has to cancel the registration to the course, the registration fee can only be returned after sending the relevant request by email to diriele@unex.es or seciele@unex.es at least 24 hours before the first class of the course begin.

The economic-administrative management of IELE is in charge of Fundación Universidad-Sociedad of the University of Extremadura, with address at Avda. De Elvas, s/n, C.P. 06071, Badajoz (Spain), and with CIF G06456487. The activity of the IELE consists of the organization, development, management and delivery of courses of Spanish as a foreign language open to anyone who wishes to learn or improve the command of this language. VISA or MASTERCARD credit card. We guarantee that all transactions carried out on the registration platform of IELE are 100% secure. All operations that involve the transmission of personal or banking data are carried out using a secure environment. The IELE uses a server based on the standard security technology SSL (Secure Socked Layer). All the information that is transmitted travels encrypted through the network. Likewise, your credit card details are not recorded in any database, but are directed directly to the Bank's POS (Point of Sale Terminal). When paying with a VISA or MASTERCARD card, the following information will always be requested: the card number, the expiration date and a Validation Code that matches the last 3 digits of the number printed in italics on the back of your VISA or MASTERCARD card, offering, in this way, more guarantees about the security of the transaction

Important: credit card fraud is a crime, and IELE will take legal action against anyone who carries out a fraudulent transaction on its online registration platform.
