Social Council
The Social Council of the University of Extremadura is the collegiate body for the participation of society, through its various sectors, government and university administration.
In addition to the specific functions conferred upon it by Law 4 / 1998 dated April 30, of the Social Council of the University of Extremadura and the Statutes of the Uex, the main competence of the Social Council is the assessment of the University Institution operation from the perspective of the society in which it is based and which serves, by proposing goals and stating limitations and deficiencies.
Likewise, the Social Council should become the spokesperson to society for the needs of the University and how to remedy them.
