EUR-ACE® Seal for Degre in Hortofruticultural and Gardening Engineering and Degree in Engineering of Agricultural Holdings

Our Degree in Hortofruticultural and Gardening Engineering and Degree in Engineering of Agricultural Holdings have obtained the EUR-ACE® Seal.

The EUR-ACE® seal is a certificate granted by an agency authorized by ENAEE (European Network for the Accreditation of Engineering Education) to a university with respect to a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree assessed according to a set of defined standards, in accordance with the principles of quality, relevance, transparency, recognition and mobility contemplated in the European Higher Education Area. The EUR-ACE® seal is internationally recognized, as it facilitates both academic and professional mobility by enabling the identification of high-quality engineering programs in Europe and beyond.

As usual in the early days of the academic year, the EIA Assembly Hall was the framework where the welcome to the new students was celebrated. The event was attended by a series of speakers, who addressed several aspects of interest for new students:

The Internal Quality Assurance System (SGIC) of the EIA maintains the AUDIT certification of the ANECA

The School of Agricultural Engineering of the University of Extremadura has been positioned 5 times in the last 7 years among the five best places to study the Degree in "Agricultural Engineering", according to the annual Ranking on Spanish Universities published by EL MUNDO.

Selection criteria in this ranking include:

a) Questionnaires to teachers.
b) University data such as university demand, human resources, infrastructure, curriculum, obtained results (Graduation rate, production of doctors, etc.).
c) Other indicators such as ANECA reports and self-assessment reports.
